Māori Development | Administration

Current PGDipBus (Business Administration) students

This all round executive training programme appeals to working professionals who seek a core management qualification to provide a foundation to move from middle to senior management. Postgraduate Diploma in Business in Administration graduates, who achieve an average grade of a ‘B’ or above (across all eight courses) may be eligible to apply to MBA, Master of Business Management or the Master of Business Development.

Note: The final intake for the PGDipBus in Business Administration will start in Quarter Three 2020 (July 2020). Please be advised, we will continue teaching the current PGDipBus in Business Administration cohorts, and there will be no changes to the programme you were accepted into.

Course content

You will complete one course during each 12-week quarter over two years. Classes are delivered on one week night: 5.30pm to 8.30pm.



Participants must complete a minimum of 120 points from the following courses:

2020 PGDipBus students

Postgraduate Diploma in Business (PGDipBus) 2 years – 120 points $18,615.60*

Amount shown is indicative*. Students should also allow for up to $2500 annually for additional costs including admission fee, student services fee, textbooks, printing and parking.

You may be eligible for ‘free fees’

For eligible students, the government may pay up to a maximum of $12,000 towards first-year (or equivalent) fees. PGDipBus students, without a bachelor’s degree, may be eligible. You can check your eligibility for fees-free via the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). Visit the TEC’s website.
